Xihang Shi is a PostDoc under Prof. Ido Kaminer’s group in Technion, Israel. His research is dedicated to advancing the field of free-electron radiation, using free electrons to generate radiation in spectral regions that are challenging to access with traditional optical methods, such as highly confined plasmons and X-rays. His research covers the entire spectrum from the fundamental all the way to the very applied. In particular, he strive to deepen our understanding of quantum science in this field and make use of it.
